I came across this website randomly when I was trying to find recipes for chinese soups. This is by far the best and most informative website! I really like the way you explain how to prepare and make the best use of every single ingredient. Thank you and I look forward to making more soups from your recipes!
Thank you Vivian for your inspiring and supportive words! We will continue to push forth our great soups and hope you continue to follow! Thank you again, Lisa
Found this while searching for pig feet in vinegar, nice to see a modern take on traditional soup recipes. My parents generation have a hard time explaining these soups and the benefits of each ingredient has been lost and folded into tradition instead. And for non Chinese reading like myself it’s hard to research or even find some of these ingredients, just commenting to let you know you are helping to breach a gap.
Thanks Yum on your comments! Appreciate the support and kind words. That was the whole reason why we started the site – to bridge a gap (to Canadian born Chinese) on Chinese soups! Lisa
Hi, Is there a way for me to receive updates when you have new posts?
Dear Mabel, sorry, I’m going back over comments as my site’s been down and sometimes I reply via email or via the site, so I apologize if I’ve replied and sound like a broken record. You can actually use an RSS feed for updates – google and gmail offer RSS feeds / services for any sites that have new updates and will send it to your RSS feed. Hope this helps? Lisa
